The 412s' simple, durable design makes them a cost-effective improvement to your motorcycle's suspension performance
A five-position cam-style spring load preload adjuster lets you easily dial in your ride
Available with either standard or heavy duty progressive spring rates
There are multiple style options available, like full show chrome or black covers; or either chrome or black springs and end caps
    Sold in pairs
Some or all shocks listed have T√úV approval. Refer to most recent T√úV certificate for current listing
    Made in the U.S.A.
NOTE: All shocks are measured center-of-eyelet to center-of-eyelet.
NOTE: CHR denotes chrome shock part numbers; BLK denotes black shock part numbers.
NOTE: When installing shocks on 86-18 XL models, it may be necessary to modify or space the chain/belt guard to allow proper clearance.
NOTE: A shock which is slightly longer than stock may alter the head angle slightly and provide somewhat quicker steering.
NOTE: A shock which is slightly shorter than stock may alter the head angle slightly and provide somewhat slower steering.
NOTE: For OEM shock lengths, see Quick Reference Guide in the back of the catalog.
NOTE: Heavy Duty Applications are recommended for bikes that are operated at or near the manufacturer's maximum load rating over 50% of the time.
NOTE: Before purchasing or attempting to install shocks that are different than the OEM length, confirm that your wheel travel can be altered without causing clearance issues, such as swingarm/axle to exhaust contact as well as chain/belt guard or tire contact.
[this text goes with(below? beside? whatever) the line art referencing the shorter shocks]
To use the 11" or 11.5" shocks on FXDWG models, the fender must be modified as follows: When the shock is compressed, the belt guard will hit the fender edge (see Figure 1). Trim the fender as shown in Figure 1 inset. After the fender is trimmed, install one shock with springs removed and compress shock to verify that belt guard clearance is sufficient.

** Free shipping applies to Continental US only - excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and US Protectorates.
Our shipping structure is as follows:
Please allow 1-3 business days for processing.
Any exhaust/emission alteration is legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used, registered or licensed for use upon a highway.
We generally ship via USPS First Class or USPS Priority shipping. We do utilize FedEx and UPS in some instances.
Expedited shipping via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation is available.
We will not lower the value on International Orders.
Customs fees, brokerage fees, taxes, or duties are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the cost of shipping listed on the eBay ad.
You will receive Delivery Confirmation information via email once package label has been created.
This does not confirm acceptance of the package by USPS or FedEx.
Tracking will begin to update via USPS website if and only when they scan the package.
USPS tracking is not live tracking like UPS or FedEx.
If USPS does not scan the package at pick up or in transit no tracking information will be available via USPS website. This occasionally happens, and is rare.
Please be aware that this is out of our control and we see what you see. Please be patient as this method of shipment is the most economical but not perfect.
    International Customers:
Import duties, taxes, and other charges are NOT INCLUDED in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility and vary by country/location.
Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up. These charges are not to be confused for additional shipping charges.
